Seems a strange one to me, but according to his twitter he's considering skipping super feather and jumping straight to lightweight.
I'd give super feather a go if I were him. Lightweight is very competitive both Domestic and World. Got to consider he'd be in amongst guys like Ritson, Campbell who are huge at the weight, and that's just domestic, fancy his chances against Loma or Garcia, Linares?!!
The IBF would see him right at super feather. Likely go straight in top ten and be fighting for a world title in no time.
Lee Selby @ Lightweight?
Re: Lee Selby @ Lightweight?
I'm not sure it's the right move. He gives away too much height and reach at LW.
The extra weight would have to equate into more power just to hold his own even in the domestic scene.
Ritson, Coyle, Crolla and Campbell are quite a bit bigger, Burns would be a good earner. Other than that, I can't see the point.
Selby has done really well with his talent so far, but he isn't what I would call special.

He will be too small for lightweight. He's got to appreciate the some of the lads in that division are naturally bigger and cut to make the weight. Much better fit at Super Feather.
I thought he could be special but the warrington fight proved otherwise.
