Shelley Finkle IFLTV interview.
Don’t know how to share it but it seemed to confirm what many of us of thought of Camp Eddie for a while. He’s been a bit exposed here has young Edward. Yes, we all know he’s got the Sweet Caroline cokeheads on side so probably won’t be bothered but will he ever let AJ fight anyone with a pulse under the age of 35?
Re: Shelley Finkle IFLTV interview.
Bit harsh. He's beaten some decent guys. Whyte, Parker, Takam etc... Fury has definitely shown them up taking the Wilder fight though. Hope he does it but personally I think it's too soon for him. Hope I'm wrong....

Joshua - Wlad, Parker, Whyte, Breazeale, Takam, Molina
Fury - Wlad, Chisora.....
Wilder - Ortiz ( could maybe chuck in Washington and the likes, they’d give Chisora all he could handle probably, and he’s on the list )
In terms of level of quality in opponents, Joshua is comfortably ahead as it stands.

They’d beat everyone on Fury’s record bar Wlad though. Del Boy would give them an argument win/lose some. Fury and Wilders records are pretty jank. Joshua’s is less jank.

Del was undefeated British and Commonwealth champion first time round. Not the shot version robbed against Whyte.

Parker was an undefeated world champion when Joshua faced him.mickey1975 wrote: ↑18 Aug 2018, 03:55 Del was undefeated British and Commonwealth champion first time round. Not the shot version robbed against Whyte.
Re: Shelley Finkle IFLTV interview.
pretty f@cking funny that its ajs resume that your going after
and about the age, how about applying that to the others? who are the best opponents fury and wilder beat under 35? rules out wlad for fury, and ortiz and stiverne for wilder. so we got guys like chris hammer and chis for fury, guys like artur szpilka and malik scott for wilder. whereas ajs beat 3 guys under 35 who are in most top 10 lists now
aj hasnt even been pro a full 5 years either

Re: Shelley Finkle IFLTV interview.
and lmao at mick going all in like shelly is so credible on wanting the toughest fights, do you realise how f@cking slow his boy deontay moved?
about 7 years in he was still fighting jason gavern
kelvin price was his best opponent when hed been a pro the same time aj has
he even fought a 40+ year old, hugely inactive clubfighter.....who just so happened to have been a smw!!
aj hasnt even been a pro 5 years, but ya, lets all laugh with shelly at how ajs been progressed

pretty laughable how with some people team wilder (10 years pro) is now some bastion of ambitious matchmaking and credibility when it comes to taking the toughest fights and risks

Re: Shelley Finkle IFLTV interview.
ambitious finkel on 30 year old, 7 year pro, 33-0 wilder...hilarious that aj haters have a fetish for this guy

now i know this type of this doesnt necessarily invalidate his opinions about other fighters, but just funny to see the one of the slowest moving hw champs in years and his team to be treated like the really ambitious parties“Look, (Wilder) is a baby winning the title. It was his first title fight, they'll be a time for unification, they'll be a time for all those things, he could go and Povetkin (the No. 2 contender) in Russia and make $10 million,” Finkel said to the Tuscaloosa News. “But It's not the right thing yet. Give him a couple of fights, maybe bring something back to Alabama. Let him develop just like any other athlete. They don't take someone who is a great college prospect and throw him right in. And this kid is a great prospect.”

Re: Shelley Finkle IFLTV interview.
He threw 383 punches and landed 139, 37% of his punches landed.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑18 Aug 2018, 08:57Did he throw more than Fury did against Wlad?
Fury threw 371 punches, landing only 86, 23% of punches
Now given that wlad threw even less, and parker threw more but landed less. You could argue that AJs fight was a masterclass aswell.

They are/were top 10 universally recognised heavyweights tho. Were is this ifl of shirley winkle?mickey1975 wrote: ↑18 Aug 2018, 03:26Whyte, Takam, Parker, Molina, Breazeale are crap.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑18 Aug 2018, 03:21 Joshua - Wlad, Parker, Whyte, Breazeale, Takam, Molina

Fury landed 86 against Klitschko and you’ve said before that he school him. Was he also scared to throw punches?

No, Tyson did hundreds of feints, keeping Wlad permanently off balance. If you let him get set, he will hit you. Ask Joshua.
If you understand horse racing form, AJ’s last two wins simply haven’t been very good. Takam KNOCKED OUT by Chisora and Parker beaten by Whyte. The record shows horrendous form.

It’s boring mate.
He won every round against Takam and then stopped him (albeit it was dodgy) and then unified the titles against an unbeaten fighter (who’d just beat Hughie Fury) in 2nd gear.
Is that horrendous form?!
