Matchroom launched MC Academy in Feb this year and hopefuls submitted their entry's via twitter or instagram. Originally the final three were going to face public vote but it kind of went under the radar and a chap named Ben won the competition. The winner was supposed to become Matchrooms new MC for all of their non ppv shows.

Its all gone quiet on that front with no mention or sign of Ben as the new MC. Instead Matchroom have announced exclusive MC deals with Buffer and David Diamante (Sp?). Buffer obviously broke that exclusivity when he MC'd KSI v Logan paul!

So why bother with a competition to only ditch the winner?

Buffer is fuckin murder now! Always getting names and places etc wrong! Gets paid a fortune for fukk all and still manages to balls it up!
