I didn't get his analogy of a 12 year old tyson hiding behind a hall, equating to him being a coward for life. To me, if you are 12, with no parents or siblings to look after you and you are being attacked on the streets of brooklyn, then the smart move is to high behind a wall. It's called survival, and Tyson is a survivor.

I agree.

Teddy has something of a point in the sense he looked for a way out when tbe going got tough. But to discount ALL of his wins is ridiculous. Tyson is a deeply disturbed chap and like you say much of that is down to such a bad upbringing.

The most interesting part is where Teddy talks about his upbringing and how much of a role model his father was. He gets quite emotionsl during it. I like Atlas, a man of real character imo and his love of boxing comes from the same place as my own, how it's a metaphor for life and just a showcase of something much deeper.

Yes the best thing about the interview is that he just let Teddy speak, which is gold dust to us fans who could listen to these old timers all day long....3 hours of entertainment, history and education for me.

Shame Kugan cant do the same hey?!
