I don't see no other big money fight for Canelo than a third fight with GGG! Also the second fight was a close one.

Canelo would probably vacate that strap and have a third fight on Cinco de Mayo with GGG. Plain and simple! :OhYes: :box:

Every bout Canelo competes in is a “big money fight”!

Canelo has a proven track record of consistently generating huge amounts of revenue for his bouts, regardless of opposition.

Commercially-speaking, a third fight against Golovkin may be the biggest, but he’s still able to earn huge sums against relatively anonymous opponents.

As good as the first two were, I‘m not fussed about a third. You can have too much of a good thing

i think ggg won the first 2. a trilogy is fine. yes, it probably is the biggest event still.
what a well managed career canelo is having. picking off weaker foes for a couple of years, building up to ggg. a couple of favourable decisions, and onwards.

Canelo vs. saunders/charlo/jacobs would all be huge fights! Canelo/Saunders in England, that's the one i want to see but it won't happen.

All fights for Canelo are big.

No Cinco de Mayo with Golovkin.

Probably Lemieux on that date.

Then maybe Golovkin in September, if he doesn't piss off GBP and get greedy like last time.

‘Name’ champions need enormous money to come to England. There is no reason for him to box Saunders in the U.K. Even here, Alvarez is overwhelmingly the ticket seller.

Besides, Canelo could be on the wrong end of a decision in England (legitimately or otherwise). That just won't happen in Las Vegas. An opponent is going to need a knockout to beat Canelo in LV, and when you consider his skill-set and his ability to take a shot, it's likely the money-machine just keeps on giving for quite some time yet.

Kovalev won against Ward twice as well and the whole world has seen it.

I certainly wouldn't ever pay a dime to see Ward or Canelo fighting with anyone, even if they pay me it should be a significant amount before I'm interested to hurt my eyes seeing the corruption again.
Brilliantly said! It used to be the black boxers that got always got screwed but now that they are often the so called 'A side' it happens to be the Eastern Europeans turn, tomorrow it could be the Asians or whoever.

Different faces, same old crap. The only thing the cartel fear is their man getting knocked out. Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, Sonny Liston etc all did it with their fists, but they would all struggle to even get a title shot in today's climate.

If your face doesn't fit, then your only way up is by KO.

Serio7sly? Black boxers? Eastern europeans, frikkin Asians? You must be trolling? If you don't knock your guy out You get fucked everywhere, germans try to fornicate you in germany, the japanese in japan, the brits in britain, americans in the us, russians in russia - corruption in boxing is worldwide international incorporated and knows just one color:green🤑. Nothing to do with race whatsoever but most probably i didn't get your point or got it wrong? Fact is that the majority of top american boxers are and were black.

Believe me Mr. VIP, nobody is interested in taking your dime away from you.

These fighters will thrive without collecting a windfall from you.

Oh that's oké, but then the guys that do pay are the guys that don't know a dime about boxing and fall for scams. If that's your way to make money, scamming people, I can't stop you, but it's just not my style.
I also feel sorry for those dumb guys paying money to beautiful Russian girls somewhere on the internet that want to marry with them but for some odd reason never actually show up, but do need money for a plane ticket and a pasport and the taxi and the rent or whatever.
It's like an 80 year old rich men that marries a 25 yo beauty, if that's your style, go ahead, but don't think I'd fall for it.
Yes, but it doesn't matter what we may think - a third GGG v Canelo fight is almost inevitable. Apart from Joshua v Wilder it's still easily the biggest money making fight in the sport.

The first Canelo-GGG bout achieved 1.3m PPV buys (despite a portion of the potential sales being cannibalised by the MayMac circus event), the rematch only did 1.1m (even though it was the biggest event of the year, without facing any competition) and so I’d expect the demand to see the third fight dip significantly, whilst still being a commercially viable event to stage.

Of course, the platform and the price point of the PPV will significantly impact the sales units, I do expect less revenue to be generated for a potential third bout.

The problem is… there’s no guarantee we’ll ever get to see a third bout, especially if Canelo and GGG sign-up with rival networks.
