Abass Baraou 2 0 0
vs
Robert Maess 22 1 0
Germany BDB Super Welterweight Title
Maess RTD
Maess down once in round 1 & 2
That was an intriguing fight (Baraou vs Maess). It's still at a low level locally but Baraou is building a nice record for a German prospect with only 3 fights. It's not only who but how easily too. It will be interesting to see his list of opponents in 2019.

Thanks for the Baraou highlights!! Despite only 3 pro bouts Abass Baraou is a world-class prospect with excellent amateur credentials.
He won gold at 152 at the 2017 European Championships and bronze at the 2017 World Championships. Looks like Sauerland is matching him fairly tough. Maess may not be as good as his 22-1 record indicates but for a guy in his 3rd pro bout, Baraou is off to a great start!!
I already included him in the "AMATEUR STANDOUTS WHO RECENTLY TURNED PRO" thread. viewtopic.php?f=22&t=219753
