Re: Rigondeaux ?
Good question, i have literally forgot about him..
Re: Rigondeaux ?
I think he was allegedly supposed to be the next Mayweather, even though his age and his quality of opposition since Donaire suggested that it was an ill-informed prediction.
Well, he parted with his promoter, Roc Nation, in August. He's 38. He suffered a hand injury in his last fight. He hasn't tweeted anything since last December. In an interview in August, he suggested that he still wants to fight some more.

I don't believe in a hand injury. It was only a bad excuse.Lackeos wrote: ↑17 Oct 2018, 12:34 I think he was allegedly supposed to be the next Mayweather, even though his age and his quality of opposition since Donaire suggested that it was an ill-informed prediction.

But if he was winning the bout, he probably would have fought through it.
At 38, and out for at least a year, it's real questionable whether Rigo can come close to regaining his past form.
