Lewis, I'd say was the harder puncher because he's one of the very few who ever stopped Ruddock, Tyson, Golota, etc. and it's because for a large man Lewis was very quick and fluid. When a 245 pound man has speed, that velocity quantifies their natural power.

Yes, Lewis was more the world-class tactician which made for some boring matches (ie, Tua) but his jab was a battering ram that effectively set up brutal straight right hands that almost always brought around the beginning of the end.

Joshua has alot of power, but, he doesn't have the fluidity and speed like Lewis. Anyone who can legitimately lay out Kevin Johnson--- passed his prime or not--- is a murderous puncher. But Lewis was a more effective puncher imho because of the speed and fluidity as well as Lewis's high IQ being three or four steps ahead of his opponents.

I'd agree with this, speed makes a big difference. Pure strength wise AJ probably is physically stronger but strength doesn't always equate to punching power. Its the punches you don't see that hurt you.
