Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
I had it 115-111 for Fury. Gave Wilder the 1st, 9th and 12th. And the 1st was close! Terrible judging from the one who gave Wilder 7 rounds. That's just nonsense.
Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
7-5 Fury
113-113
Hats off to fury for coming over and showing great heart..could've been a little busier.... definitely not a robbery.

Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
Fury won that fight. Majority of fans thought so too. On another forum, I've not ran into anyone that thinks Wilder legitimately won or even drew. It's only on this forum, with too many obvious Stevie Wonders, that I've seen people saying Wilder won. Anyone thinking Wilder won or drew are living on another planet. You don't win fights winging shots and constantly missing.
Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
Missed the 5th round. I had Wilder winning 6 rounds, so I'd have it 114-112 Wilder assuming Fury won the 5th.
Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
You don't win fights by sticking your hands behind your back, and clowning around either. If Fury wanted to win clearly he should've fought more, and clowned less.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:08 Fury won that fight. Majority of fans thought so too. i can't wait for the fake and biased CompuBox stats, i will re-watch this fight in a slow motion and compare their stats with mine.
Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
You do if you're consistently beating the other fighter to the punch while clowning and punking him. If Fury wanted to win, he probably should've avoided fighting in the US. That was a blatant robbery, as bad as what Stevenson/Gvozdyk would've been had it not ended in a stoppage.gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:09You don't win fights by sticking your hands behind your back, and clowning around either. Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
but clowning around was not the only thing that Fury did in the ring. at the same time when Fury was clowning, Wilder was doing nothing as well.gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:09You don't win fights by sticking your hands behind your back, and clowning around either. Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
You gotta punch to beat the other guy to the punch. In the first 4 rounds neither guy was doing a whole lot of punching, and Wilder's punches were heavier. With little going on, the more damaging punches carry the round IMO.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:11You do if you're consistently beating the other fighter to the punch while clowning and punking him. Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
It's not a Whitaker-Chavez level robbery, but the only reason it isn't is that there obviously were the two 10-8 rounds. Other than that it was pretty plainly Fury controlling almost every round.
Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
He definitely wasn't particularly impressive, no argument there, but I thought with such little action early on the few half decent shots Wilder landed were often the best of the round, and with so little going on 1 quality punch can give you the round.dagilechia wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:12but clowning around was not the only thing that Fury did in the ring. at the same time when Fury was clowning, Wilder was doing nothing as well.gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:09You don't win fights by sticking your hands behind your back, and clowning around either. Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
116 - 110 to 114 - 113 is reasonable. 7 rounds for wilder is a pre ordered farce, the man got paid not to judge the fight but to manufacture a scorecard in favor of wilder. that or he is blind or he mistook fury for wilder.
Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
I think two of the three judges scorecards were acceptable.
I can see 7-5 Fury with the 2 KDs making it a draw.
But that third scorecard was criminal.

Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
i saw them, they had wilder around 18 percent accuracy and fury around 30-35 i think, fury landing moredagilechia wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:10 i can't wait for the fake and biased CompuBox stats, i will re-watch this fight in a slow motion and compare their stats with mine.

What was heavier? Wilder's punches didn't even land! Seriously, you need to rewatch the fight. When everyone sees something different and the only people backing you up are obvious idiots, I'd say it's time to rewatch a fight.gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:13You gotta punch to beat the other guy to the punch. Wilder was not landing 'heavy, damaging punches' in the early rounds.

Re: FURY VS WILDER POLL
I had it 114-112 Fury. I think scores could range from 115-111 Fury to the 113-113 draw.
Fury should have edged it, but not a robbery....

Straight right to the body in Round 1. Best punch of the round.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:17What was heavier? Wilder's punches didn't even land! Seriously, you need to rewatch the fight. That's one example. I'd have to watch it again, but it was usually just one simple thing like that that got him the round. Fury did little to make up for these kinda shots.
The first 4 rounds weren't clear either way. They all could've went either way.
