FURY VS WILDER POLL

let's see how most of people on here seen this fight
You don't win fights by sticking your hands behind your back, and clowning around either. If Fury wanted to win clearly he should've fought more, and clowned less.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:08 Fury won that fight. Majority of fans thought so too. On another forum, I've not ran into anyone that thinks Wilder legitimately won or even drew. It's only on this forum, with too many obvious Stevie Wonders, that I've seen people saying Wilder won. Anyone thinking Wilder won or drew are living on another planet. You don't win fights winging shots and constantly missing.
You do if you're consistently beating the other fighter to the punch while clowning and punking him. If Fury wanted to win, he probably should've avoided fighting in the US. That was a blatant robbery, as bad as what Stevenson/Gvozdyk would've been had it not ended in a stoppage.gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:09You don't win fights by sticking your hands behind your back, and clowning around either. but clowning around was not the only thing that Fury did in the ring. at the same time when Fury was clowning, Wilder was doing nothing as well.gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:09You don't win fights by sticking your hands behind your back, and clowning around either. You gotta punch to beat the other guy to the punch. In the first 4 rounds neither guy was doing a whole lot of punching, and Wilder's punches were heavier. With little going on, the more damaging punches carry the round IMO.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:11You do if you're consistently beating the other fighter to the punch while clowning and punking him. It's not a Whitaker-Chavez level robbery, but the only reason it isn't is that there obviously were the two 10-8 rounds. Other than that it was pretty plainly Fury controlling almost every round.
He definitely wasn't particularly impressive, no argument there, but I thought with such little action early on the few half decent shots Wilder landed were often the best of the round, and with so little going on 1 quality punch can give you the round.dagilechia wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:12but clowning around was not the only thing that Fury did in the ring. at the same time when Fury was clowning, Wilder was doing nothing as well.gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:09You don't win fights by sticking your hands behind your back, and clowning around either. What was heavier? Wilder's punches didn't even land! Seriously, you need to rewatch the fight. When everyone sees something different and the only people backing you up are obvious idiots, I'd say it's time to rewatch a fight.gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:13You gotta punch to beat the other guy to the punch. Straight right to the body in Round 1. Best punch of the round.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 03:17What was heavier? Wilder's punches didn't even land! Seriously, you need to rewatch the fight.
