Re: Khan v Crawford
fair play to Khan for wanting the fight but he's got no business being in the ring with Crawford.
Re: Khan v Crawford
i thought craw was in deep talks with a guy khan 119-104'd?
crawfords a serious talent and would obviously muller khan. not sure khans speed would even get him that far in the early rounds, craw is just so well rounded and has the tools to deal with almost anything
i think there really at the points where they need the opposite type of opponent. khan carefully selected not very risky guys to beat (barring a big money fight vs brook etc), while craw needs that top level guy to beat and really get a result in line with his p4p number 1 talent

Agree about opponents and how they should be matched
Ridiculous fight for Khan
Bravery can be admired, but still ridiculous

Annihilation for Amir. Career ending.

Arum is offering him $4m guarantee. ESPN PPV.. that probably means Crawford would get slightly less but a bigger slice of PPV money.

Re: Khan v Crawford
At least it’d be miles better than Crawford - Collazo.

Will this be the first time Khan gets comprehensively outboxed?

Re: Khan v Crawford
Khan shouldn't take the fight, I think he should hold out for Mayweather when he comes back, in failing that then go for Pacquiao, neither guy has been in with someone with Khan's handspeed, let the Brook fight marinate, hey presto
Re: Khan v Crawford
Khan = Everybody's Favorite Big Name Punching Bag...except of course Mayweather much to Amir's chagrin
Re: Khan v Crawford
This. I couldn't see Khan making it through a fight with a top boxer without giftwrapping him something with a bow on top. He's fearless, or foolhardy. He seems to have a very hard nose for "business" i.e. making big money.smiling assassin wrote: ↑03 Dec 2018, 15:18 fair play to Khan for wanting the fight but he's got no business being in the ring with Crawford.
This leaves me thinking that a fight with Kell Brook will never be off the table, even once both are shadows of what they were.

Khan knows he can always fall back on a Brook fight. Khan at least has options. Brook is relying on Khan to get him that big payday he needs. There is no one else Brook can fight for that kind of money. Who needs him club?sparrow_1 wrote: ↑03 Dec 2018, 20:07This. Re: Khan v Crawford
If Khan is done and looking for a pension fight then it makes perfect sense.
Why serve up his final devastating KO loss to ‘Brooks’ when Crawford can have it for the same money AND improve Khan’s legacy even in defeat.

Re: Khan v Crawford
Crawford and Brook would both absolutely destroy Khan - unfortunately Khan’s chin is just appalling, he can’t stand up to any meaningful shots which land flush. Crawford and Brook aren’t the biggest punchers around, but they are both very accurate and would stop Khan around the 5th/6th round imo.

Khan continues to outmanouver brook. I don't think he ever had any intention to fight brook. Its a pretty entertaining version of the hatton witter duck.
Brook is only holding on for the khan payday at this point and khan knows it.

Re: Khan v Crawford
No need for a poll.
It will go like this;

Actually a poll on how many rounds until Khan enters the sandman would be ok

Re: Khan v Crawford
Even less interest in this than the Brook fight.
Good luck to Khan on maximising the final stages of the ultimate cash out process, with Brook still waiting for him after.
But I prefer fights with an air of uncertainty.
