Boxination have picked it up already as I would have imagined. As long as they can keep up these type of fights from the States. They can keep the hardcore boxing fans subscribed, even though it will be on late over here..

Are people still actually paying the BN subs? I cancelled mine months ago and get it through BT Sports.

As for the fight, I reckon Kovalev is done - Alvarez by KO/TKO

Well if you're getting the channel through BT Sports you still have it don't you.

Some may prefer to have Boxnaiton on their smart TV or on their Firestick?

I get BN with my BT sports package.

I'm leaning towards Alvarez again but Kovalev will still be dangerous.

My interest in Kovalev has dwindled, but this is still an interesting fight that I reckon will again be explosive.

I was looking forward to it until I found Kovalev was spotted hanging around Brixton Market today, clearly not taking his training seriously :shame:

I've still got B/N as a standalone channel with Sky, yeah. Don't have BT.

Couple of other world title fights on show as well, albeit looking considerably less competitive (on paper at least).

Teofimo Lopez is also on the undercard but I doubt this will be covered by B/N. Decent early year offering though.

Kovalev has lost his aura, while Alvarez has the confidence and the momentum.

Sergey is getting krushed--again!

Kovalev had looked alright since the stoppage in the rematch with Ward but Alvarez was the acid test and even though he boxed well before getting decked the first time, as soon as Alvarez hurt him there was no way Kovalev was getting through the storm(pun intended  ) ive no doubt Kovalev can box well again and pull out another lead on the cards but mentally both men know Alvarez can KO him and I see Alvarez taking less time to get Kovalev out of there this time, I think Kovalev should maybe try to impose his power on Alvarez, something he doesn't always do when stepping up a level

I think Kovalevs time as a top level performer is up. He reminds me a little of a boxing equivalent of Wayne Rooney, a guy that always looked older and more physically mature than his actual age.

Kovalev is 35 now but looks about 50.

For me Kovalev’s heart isn’t in it anymore.
Pretty much quit in the second Ward fight.
Also there’s some strong rumours about his heavy drinking. He’s here for a paycheck.
He was outboxing Alvarez before the stoppage but I can’t see him doing it consistently for 12 rounds.

Alvarez stoppage for me.

Kovalev doesn't really know what to do when hurt or when his man isn't intimidated. He still had his moment vs Alvarez and was well ahead on the cards. He will throw more punches here and I think Alvarez needs a stoppage. Let's not forget how hard Kovalev hits. I don't feel comfortable betting against someone carrying that kind of power and who is still pretty athletic. Kovalev hasn't really declined since the time of the Cleverly fight. He still has a high punch output and looks like the same fighter to me. He's just been found out a bit at top level. Most people will argue that he out boxed Andre ward in fight 1 not too long ago.

For Alvarez-Kovalev, which will headline the card the referee will be Luis Pabon, from Puerto Rico.

Levi Martinez (New Mexico), Lisa Giampa (Nevada), and Jesse Reyes (Texas), were appointed judges for the bout. The WBO Supervisor will be WBO President Francisco "Paco" Valcárcel, Esq.

Kov is being written off too soon for me. P4p one of hardest hitters this era has seen. Kovalev by KO.

IDK, Alvarez was pretty convincing in exposing Kov's shaky chin. Also, the assault case and lawsuit has to be a distraction. I think he gets spanked badly.

kov was winning the first fight and landing well, i think alv is pretty tough and can get through the storm

kov on the other hand despite being the much better puncher is fragile and has stamina issues. i feel once hes hurt and in tough hes done
