Hrgovic is promising but untested. He has good skills, but we haven't seen him under fire, like Joshua v. Wlad or Wilder v. Ortiz. LOL! I knew someone would go there. Regardless of Wlad and Ortiz' ages or past their primes, they both brought out the something we hadn't seen from AJ and Wilder, which is to my point.

I'm not blaming him though. He's a prospect, everything goes the logical way. However, Wilder's and Joshua's resumes include prime or near-prime opponents too.

Agreed, but those two fights made both fighters have to dig deeper than ever before and took each to the brink, IMHO. A place where neither had been before. AJ came back from a KD and was in very bad trouble, and Wilder was obviously on the brink of being stopped when he came to smash Ortiz. Doesn't matter how old or past their primes their opponents were, fact is, they got tested a never tested previously. Hrgovic will step up in his next fight I'm certain. We know so very little about him so far, so I agree with you that he's never even faced a fighter closely skilled as he may be.

The prospect I really love is Efe Ajagba. I think this kid (age 24 with pretty solid amateur career) is the best of the young prospects. He has size; (at 6'5", 235LBS looks like he's 210 so he will get larger as he matures)speed; terrific power; and outstanding fundamentals. He too hasn't come close to being tested, but he looks terrific! I hope we see him take the next step in 2019.

I've seen his 88" reach mentioned on a lot of websites/boxing sites and articles using terms like "Freakish reach" to describe how Efe uses it to set up his punches. So...maybe?
