I'm sure we'd have to go back quite a ways for this ... but..
I'm curious, how many instances there are of two "top-rated" boxers having boxed, where there was a huge weight discrepancy, where one of the fighters was not as "Heavyweight".
In other words, I'm not interested in 300lb vs 230lb... I'm more interested in say.. 210lb vs. 130lb... even if the lighter guy put on some weight for the fight.
Have there been any of these contests where both boxers were highly rated in their respective divisions or at the very least, the lighter boxer was highly rated?
High profile weight mismatches, All-Time?

Jim Jefferies/Bob Fitzimmons?

Not bad...I'm looking for a larger divisional difference though.JCS wrote: ↑31 Dec 2018, 17:28 I'm sure we'd have to go back quite a ways for this ... but..

What if you only force the minimum point threshold for the lighter boxer and change 185 to 160?
