No idead. I don’t think Hearn or Whyte have disclosed this.

When Michelle asked Whyte how much Hearn originally offered, he did not want to tell her. It was probably a flat fee. Plus 10%.. who knows.

He did say it would have made him less than what he got against Chisora. IF that’s true, which it probably is, then that’s bullshït offer.

Hearn is apparently just doing what AJ is telling him. The offer came from AJ and not Whyte. AJ has his own contract with SBO.

6 million I think. I'm not 100% on that.

He probably wants paid what Povetkin was paid. I'd say he's earned it.

I think the offer is pitched such that Whyte won't accept it, but won't just walk away and commit himself to something else. We know, and Hearn has made no secret of the fact, that Joshua's priority is Wilder first, second and third, followed by Fury then either Whyte or Miller.

He's hoping he can spook Wilder into taking the date out of fear that Fury will take it if he doesn't. If neither bite within the next week or two at the latest, as is looking inevitable, then Hearn can either offer more money to Whyte or opt to fight Miller at MSG. The idea of fighting Miller in NYC is appealing but then he has the dilemma of what to do about Wembley. Does he try to fill it up as much as possible with a lesser attraction (Damn your choices Amir Khan) or does he pay the cancellation fee which is sure to be prohibitively expensive?

He could delay Miller and have Joshua fight Whyte but I'm sure they would prefer to defend against Whyte later when beating him will rid AJ of one of his mandatory obligations as well as removing Whyte from the immediate picture. Fight Whyte now and the WBA (Miller?) and WBO (Usyk or Rivas?) appoint someone else as mando instead.

Why has every party that is negotiating with Joshua claim to have received a lower offer than what Eddie says publicly. Something is wrong here. Miller's team claims they have never even received an offer.

Eddie Hearn said only this week that he had made no offer to Jarrell Miller yet. He said he doesn't want to mess him around if the fight isn't going to happen. Obviously that's putting positive spin on it because he can count on Whyte telling him to stuff the offer such as it stands, but Miller is unpredictable and Hearn doesn't want to risk Miller accepting the offer before any hope of getting Wilder (or Fury even rather than Whyte or Miller) is extinguished.

In the interests of balance have you heard from Wilder or Fury that Hearn is lying when he says Wilder and Fury have each been offered 40%?

Hearn and Joshua are desperate to get Wilder for April 13th at Wembley and they are reluctant to call off the search until they know for certain that the plan is dead.

We're almost in February now and nothing has been settled. All this behind the scenes misinformation and horse trading isn't helping anyone. Certainly not the fans.

Boxing today is strictly business first with the actual fight almost an afterthought. Perhaps we fans should primarily support those fighters that climb into the ring at least 3 times a year. 36 rounds in 12 months, is that really too much to ask?

Dillian Whyte is not my favourite heavyweight, but I love his warrior attitude. A real throwback fighter who loves boxing. Joshua on the other hand is risking wasting some of his prime because of the difficulty of getting these big fights fixed.

Since the sticking point is usually the split, perhaps its high time it was negotiated according to the result. Anything other than a stoppage has to be no more than a 60/40 split. Boxing purses are strange in the way they are negotiated. In which other sport can the potential loser get paid massively more than the potential winner? Breeding ground for corruption.

It's almost indecent to pay someone < 30% for a fight that ends in a split decision.

I think you have to cut him a little slack, when he's offered Wilder and Fury 40%. The Wembley date was booked last Summer. It isn't his fault his main rivals would prefer to fight each other for little more than Povetkin got.

Sure he could fight three times a year but then people would be bitching that Ortiz and Pulev are way past their sell-by-date, Miller, Kownacki, Rivas, Kabayel, Charr, Hammer, are undeserving of a title shot, Hrgovic, Joyce and Kuzmin unproven at top level., and Whyte, Parker, Povetkin, Breazeale, he's already beaten.

He's making money hand over fist. Satisfying his critics is proving a bit trickier.

Yup. AJ is in a tough position regarding decent opponents. Let's not forget Usyk, who wants top level opponent but no AJ until late 2019/early 2020. Miller is the best available who hasn't already lost to Joshua. It's not AJ's fault that he's beaten four of the top 10/12 already, and three others are scheduled or being scheduled to fight someone else (Ortiz; Wilder/Fury). Give the guy his due.

Yeah I hadn't forgotten him but he's not fought as a heavy yet so I thought I'd spare myself having to decide how to categorize him by excluding Usyk altogether.
