The Referee (Sydney) from November 22nd, 1893 indicates the correct date of the event held at Mick Nathan's Hall in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, (event741979) to be the previous Thursday, November 18th, 1893. The principals were Micko Welsh and Fred Williams, Boxrec has the event listed as November 25th, 1893 which seems unlikely as it is reported on in November 22nd, 1893 issue.

Never mind. I seem to have confused the two issues of the referee. The Nov 25th, 1893 date appears correct.
