Broner Vs Maidana 2 The Rematch May be in Works

Post by psychod1986 »

Maidana Signed the multi fight deal with Pbc and rumored opponent is Broner.Even though Chino hasn't fought in 5 years,i still see the same results from the first fight,Madiana is too big & strong for Broner.Once Maidana drop the weight then maybe the fight will be on.

You still see the same result? Broner at least is fighting fit - having fought high level opponents for the past several years.

Maidana -love him but you cant expect him to magically erase 5 Years of not leading a fighters lifestyle. Look at the shape of him. His return would be like how Ricardo mayorga came back.

There’s just a different level of performance competing in the top 20 and Broner is a top 20 fighter or thereabouts.

I would rather that fight was left alone. It was great to see Maidana bounce Broner around.
With 5 years out and the fact that Broner has stayed in the game, is enough of a factor for a win for Broner. Add to that the unbearable drivel that would come out of Broner afterwards - ie 'Redemption' 'I told y'all I was the best', blah blah blah.

I gave broner no chance in the first fight. Have to think it would be at least 50/50 now.

Ridiculous to even discuss a rematch when there's no guarantee that Maidana will ever see 147 again.

He'll probably return at middleweight and then try to work his way down. But who knows if he'll be successful?

He's 35, retired for 5 years and grew obese. Those factors scream out that a comeback will be an embarrassing failure.

I remember arguing with everyone here that maidana wouldn't steamroll Morales. You never know, but more often than not you're right. Erik had a ton of skills to fall back on too.
