The Sporting Life issue from November 29th, 1893 reports an event at the Kennington Social Club (125759) having occurred on November 28th, 1893. This event is missing from the Boxrec database.
The first item on the agenda was a six round contest between Ted Gorrie (ID #457870) and Bill Langford (ID #457838) in a six round bout won by Gorrie by decision.
Afterwards, in a scheduled eight round encounter Darky Wallace ( ID #803155) of Stepney met Harry North (ID ?) of Lambeth (London, UK). North did not finish the bout but it is unclear in exactly what round the end came.
The main event between Fred Gardner (ID?) from Bermondsey, and Young Solly (ID #793760) from Rotherhithe was scheduled for 30 rounds. Young Solly was disqualified for hitting low.
