yup , boring as eff career for the most part

i yawned at suggestions of jesee vargas but funny enough it wud be his second best win if he did it

sad thing is that i think brook was a really good fighter too and couldve done so much more. beating porter in the us was a serious win and he was about even with beast spence until late in that fight

They will just want to keep him winning untill a shot comes off, I doubt the opponent will be any better than the last. More likely to be a knock over job to make him look good.

Brook's been feasting on TBAs (Where's No No Dan when you need him?) for most of his career.

One saving grace is that he seems to have stopped running after Amir Khan who is clearly not interested in fighting him.

There's no point in Brook embarrassing himself by chasing after the idle Khan, but flipside to that, if the is serious about boxing still, he needs to be targeting titles at 154 & not putting out TBA announcements, because he's just not that interesting enough to pique anyone's curiosity.

There isn't any strap holder I give Brook much of a chance against.
What he had, is almost gone.
As for an opponent, Michael Soro would be OK, good paper record, not too much taller, not a murderous puncher, and should be cheap enough because AJ has sucked the money out of this card.

Dusty Harrison beat Lamanna comfortably few years back, not sure what he's done since.

Brook believes that he was winning the fight with Spence, prior to getting stopped.

He's been pushing for a rematch and believes that he'd win - if his body is 100% healthy for the bout.

"I'm brand new, I'm ready for those massive fights," said Brook to Sky Sports. "I've got plenty more to give for the fans. I'm excited about these big fights.

"I believe he [Spence Jr] dominated the fight. That fight is still there. He still mentions my name, he still would like to fight me, because he knows I was beating him.

"The people around me know what my training camp was like for that fight. I was far from 100 percent, and I was beating him, and the eye went. I would love that fight again.

"A 100 percent me, beats Errol Spence, and he's one of the biggest names in boxing. I think those fights are still there to be made."

If someone offers you a job with more cash you’d be inclined to take it - Boxings a dangerous game and if you can get more £££ elsewhere I don’t blame fighters for taking the chances.

Fact is we can’t compete now with DAZN/Espn/Fox all throwing money that even Hearn says in not sustainable long term.

So is this fight going to be at welter or light middle?

Brook has wasted huge chunks of his career waiting for Khan, he should have moved up to light middle years ago.

I bet it will be at welter just so he can try to grab Khan on the rebound from the Crawford loss.

Brook is a huge waste of talent and the people managing/advising him have done a terrible job imo.
