And then Gervonta said why would he (Davis) fight for free.

Then said when he does happen, he’ll retire Loma.

Floyd and Gervonata afraid of Loma, waiting for Loma to get old before stepping in ring, Mikey Garcia also ran away from Loma.

From the sound of it, It's starting to seem like every fighter supposedly waits and waits for other fighters to get old.

That's all they do. Sit around twiddling their thumbs, waiting for the years to go by and Father Time to eventually catch up with others.

Then they pounce.

Rubbish.

Fighters fight. That's why they turn pro and become boxers.

Their whole career doesn't revolve around some hazy 5 or 6 year plan to avoid certain boxers until it becomes more advantageous to fight them.

The only thing they wait for is a purse offer that they find acceptable.

except tanks team already openly said there waiting and that its more advantagous to do it when lomas older, it was specifically mentioned how loma was several years older, did u guys actually look into this?

u cant just blanketly apply one standard and say that no one is doing this or that, some fighters sides are

nice to see your on going adoration of pip though

So how many years do you wait?

One? Three? Five? A dozen?

You're exactly right. There is no blanket standard. A 32 year old fighter can grow old in one year.

Or he might be another Hopkins and still be world class a decade later.

There's are no guarantees with waiting. The older fighter may get beaten first by someone else and there goes the big money megamatch.

There may be a plan to wait in the part of Tank's team, but it's only to ensure that Davis is ready for the challenge and adapted to 135.

No one can know today when Lomachenko will start to slide.

All you can do is have faith in your own fighter's ability to win and strike when the bout is still highly anticipated and lucrative.

Waiting and waiting for the arrival of Father Time seems fruitless and 100% unpredictable.

Mikey got away from arum. They'll never work together again. He also took a more dangerous fight. Loma should just teach them all a lesson and get his ass whipped by Crawford.

The Spence fight was more dangerous to Mikey's health, but not his legacy, a Loma fight would be more dangerous to Mikey's legacy, as far as Crawford goes they have weight divisions for a reason..Loma is really 130 pounder not even lightweight..

Well, then he should stay in his lane and not worry about fighters with rival promoters he's not going to fight. Mikey sat out for 2 and a half years to get away from arum and you pretend he cowered away from loma? That's absurd. We can all agree this corolla fight sucks without claiming loma is afraid of anyone.

Two separate events. Nobody's arguing that Mikey should've fought Loma in 2014.
