This fight will likely happen, the deal is close to be done.
I think it might be a competitive fight. What do you expect ?

IF the fight happens (I have major doubts) I expect even a somewhat diminished Thurman to pretty much dominate Pacquiao.
The Filipino will look every one of his 40 years. He won't be in there with a gun shy Adrien Broner.
Thurman will have no fear of Pacquiao. He's bigger, stronger, hits harder and is fast enough to pretty much neutralize Pacquiao's speed advantage. And that speed edge figures to unravel as Pacquiao begins to wear down as the rounds go by.
By the late rounds, an exhausted Pacquiao will resemble the battered, bleeding mess he was when he was mauled and shoved around by a very green Jeff Horn.
But Thurman isn't green. And it's very likely he'll close the show, batter Pacquiao into a stoppage defeat, and end a legendary career.
Which is why Pacquiao would be well advised to skip Thurman and instead focus on a more docile Danny Garcia, who is smaller than Thurman and wouldn't push a fast pace against the old man.

After being hurt by Sotto Karas, Thurman changed. Against good opponents, he does more running than hurting. I think the fight will be close with Pacquiao taking some early rounds. Of course the decision will go to Thurman, as PBC will control the show.
