i was scanning the internet the other day and come across jous/conn two and joe kayoed
billy in the eighth round....it looks to me that joe kayoed billy during a break. it's right on the edge....trhe referee was calling one just as joe was throwing his right hand k.o. punch the ref was calling for a break. now which came first...the ref or the bomber's punch?
anybody have an opinion?
louis vs conn 11
Re: lois vs conn 11
first off, they never fought 11 times
second (fight) of all...….just like kung fu fighting, it was "expert timing".
Defend yourself at all times.
And dat's da name of dat tune.

Re: louis vs conn 11
In Conn's own words, the "fight was a stinker." -- By '46 he was well pass gone and embarrassed with his performance. -- I suspect even if he was hit on a break, he probably wanted out of there. He was ineffective for most of the fight.
The fight should have taken place in '42 but Mike Jacobs screwed that up. In 1942 it would have been a 'fight of the century' and a 'million dollar gate.' Plus both Louis and Conn would have gotten the tax relief they needed.
