Weightclass vote for new season

Post by Fist of Legend »

post your top 2 or 3 choices and we'll go with the most popular one. avoid picking heavyweight or Cruiserweight though as we just did those and I still might go back and finish the super six before the new season.

Well...as I gaze through the BrainTrust's Hall of Champions I see that I have 1 Heavyweight Champion, 2 Cruiserweight Champions, 1 Super Middleweight Champion, 2 Middleweight Champions, 1 Light Middleweight Champion, and 2 Bantamweight Champions.

So rather than adding a number to the lists that already exists, I'm looking to put a Champion in from a new weight class.

Light Heavyweight, Welterweight, Lightweight or Featherweight all seem good to me.

Light Heavyweight was my first season, but I joined late, and was never able to obtain a title that run. Something that always sticks in my craw.

I'm totally open minded to any weight class. Everyone of them has great potential for entertaining bouts.

I'm up for anything, but what about Light Welterweight? Have you done that one before? Might be interesting if not.

Otherwise I'll vote for Light Heavyweight, Featherweight and Flyweight.

I'd be open for any weight we haven't done a lot of. I've been pretty busy though, could manage my fighters, but won't be able to update the weekly fights/etc like I've been doing the past season & half. So might need somebody to step up and assist with that.

Certainly.

Light Welterweight would be my ideal choice as well.

Something original, something fresh, something bold, something never-been-done-before...

good to see some of you are back, we'll get things going this week, hopefully start a draft up by the weekend. I'll tally up the votes and see where we are at, then we can make a fighters list and choose a draft order.

the top choices are Lightweight, Light welter(Super Light) and welterweight. Maybe we can combine Light welter and welterweight to include all 3 divisions.

Sounds promising.....would they be pound for pound fights or fighter vs fighter base on the three weigh classes and their natural differences?

I think we'll keep it natural, each class could have its own belts plus one belt for all 3 classes to compete for, there isn't much of a discrepancy stat wise between these 3 classes and some very interesting matchups could be made.

I prefer that. After all last year my Cruiserweight was having substantial success as a Heavyweight due to my excellent management. No reason I couldn't conceivably do the same with the Lightweight talent I pick up :OhYes:

the new season might not be ablle to happen with me at the helm, the second laptop I installed the game on completely died and i've spent the last couple weeks trying for a solution but I haven't found one....maybe Buzz or someone else with the software can be commish until I can figure something out...I'd be willing to help any way I can.

I'm pretty bummed that this has happened, sorry guys but hopefully we can get someone else to run this thing for now.

Someone badly NEEDS to pick up the ball and run with it...

Unfortunately I just don't have the time at the moment to be as active as I used to be...
I was kinda hoping and relying that others would take the lead...

But with Mr Fist and Mr 'Geto also being busy... Think it's a case of the perfect storm here...

P4P season, gents?
