Povetkin ? Ortiz ?

Obviously not really but Hunter vs Povetkin/Ortiz (2019 version) would be intriguing for sure. As it is we'll be lucky if the opponent has a winning record. Boxing sure makes you cynical does it not?

I like Hunter. He's a bit underrated IMO.

The fight is 19 days away so the possibilities of a decent opponent should be unlikely

Yes once again a HW fight with only one decent fighter.

The #2 ranked IBF HW is "Not Rated." So I don't see any reason why the WBA can't rank TBA.

TBA vs Not Ranked. Sounds like a perfectly reasonable matchup these daze. :o

But he always fades late.

His conditioning is suspect.

He thought he was fighting Josh, hard to have anything more than that. I'm surprised they're not putting him on the aj card in case Ruiz pulls out.

Yes, TBA has a habit of morphing into an untrained boxer.

It's his crazy activity level impresses me. He'll fight anywhere anytime sometimes more than once on the same day.

Seriously i was once sat in a shipping agents' office in Lagos, Nigeria and the state oil company NNPC had just released their crude oil allocations for the quarter. All the major oil companies were listed but the biggest allocation of barrells was TBA. I couldn't believe my ears as the guys in the office were getting excited /agitated about who was this unknown upstart who has collared the biggest allocation . Hard to believe this wasn't familiar to them all. I maintained silent disbelief for maybe 5 mins and then piped up "Er, excuse me. You don't suppose that might stand for 'To Be Advised' or 'To Be Allocated' do you?"

The reaction was priceless: The guys exchanged looks. Nobody looked at me, nobody acknowledged me, nobody spoke for what seemed like an age, but was probably no more than twenty seconds. Then the conversation resumed but the speculation didn't. I still smile about it now.

The IBF will usually award the #1 and #2 spots to fighters in their rankings who have won eliminators

Lol. I actually have a little bit of respect for the IBF despite the lame mandatories they order.

They're all bad but the WBC usually has the most sensible ratings at least among the HWs.
