attendence for ajs next fight?

Post by jamamb »

next fight in uk, which id think will be rematch vs ruiz, in uk lets say

if the casual fan base is done and totally destroyed now as some objective observors say, im guessing he pulls like 5k lol

but nah, lets actually be reasonable, what do you think it would do?

I bet he's just as loved and his fans will come to support him. Maybe even more out of curiosity!

It obviously depends where it is, if it's at the Principality Stadium, it'll do 70,000.

It’ll sell out Wembley if it’s there, probably go myself, heard Adam Smith saying why not do it there and have rematches for Kelly and Taylor too.

Even if AJ took a warm up fight against no one you'd ever heard of it would sell in the tens of thousands.

He was a gentleman in defeat and his stock will rise.

Its now an even bigger fight than Ruiz's girth....... It would fill a stadium no problem.

Presumably it’s going to be a stadium fight and I’ll be shocked if it doesn’t sell out...

The casuals will always support him and it’ll be a big event. It’s repeat or revenge. The casual ones are gonna wanna WITNESS revenge.

If it’s wembley, it’ll do over 70k easy!

3 days ago his career and popularity with 'the casuals' was over, done, end of story blah blah.

I know I may be in the minority here, but I would prefer it if he rematched Ruiz in California or Vegas.

If he went in as the away fighter and won the rematch in front of a mainly Hispanic crowd it would make him a bigger hero to the British public than the Klitschko fight did.

Shame it will never happen though. I'd say they do 60-70k in Cardiff and Joshya doesn't fight outside the UK for the foreseeable future. Thus giving Fury even more bragging rights over him.

Be well better if all fights happened in the gym away from the pesky paying public.

I don't think they'll risk a stadium for this one. Probably o2. So whatever that holds

I don’t know about the attendance, but if the fights over here I would expect it to break the box office record on Sky.

Dont think it will be about attendances. It will be whatever gives AJ any advantage possible.

A loud packed o2 would be my shout.

Revenge match scenario should draw in big numbers.

Unless joshua’s Lost credibility from losing to “fat no hoper” etc.

Expecting to see serious improvement & huge motivation following this humbling experience.

If Joshua does come back firing on all cylinders I'd like to see him for what he is

A kid from the street with spite & who can be nasty & just try & take it from you

None of this phony s**t

This could ignite the fire in his belly, it’ll be a really interesting fight, probably make more money than the Klit fight. The buildup will be epic.

Certainly could

A loss is one loss

I've never rated AJ really, think we all know that, but was chatting to a fella the other day who used to talk him up as if he was an elite fighter already, but after his loss he's been right on his case,I told him he's what's wrong with certain aspects of being a fight fan - fans will say fighters are afraid to take a loss but then rip the c**t out of them when they do

ill take a fighter who just fights, W,L or D over any messing about

AJ in my eyes has always bin overrated and always had this coming but he's took one loss,it's how he comes back now where we can truly gauge him, personally think he's got some issues with heart & how badly he still wants it
