WBC makes Usyk Champion in Recess

In order to allow Usyk to go down in weight after competing at HW and reclaiming his belt, the WBC gave him status as "Champion in Recess' in order to, "recover from his recent injury and to support him in his attempt to compete in the heavyweight division." IT provides Usyk the right to immediately challenge for the CW belt if he so decides.

Anyone hear anything on his recovery from the bicep tear?

Usyk was in MSG last saturday, maybe they wanted to announce Joshua vs Usyk, but Ruiz fućked up those plans?
