TBT: Welch, Nelson, Lewis, Bruno, Fury & Joshua

Post by HomicideHenry »

Round table discussion in 2014 :box:

Looking back at this in retrospect, that basically everyone dismissed Fury but all eyes were on Joshua...

It's very ironic how everyone but Bruno basically bet on the wrong horse at that TV special considering Fury never would lose and Joshua would lose royally.

What stuck out to me too is how Fury looked Joshua in the eye and told him to be his own man, not listen to others, etc--- and basically Joshua has always been a corporate/team fighter doing everything he's told.

It's also interesting how upset people were over Fury's comments he could beat Lewis, yet in the future Lewis would say Fury would have been the toughest fight he'd of had in prime condition against the current top heavyweights.

fury did not beat aj last saturday, fury did not get a win or give an impressive showing. aj is still only 29 and the story isnt over with him or fury. for now fury fans may be able to smile and laugh at aj but lets see what happens. aj lost to a guy who'd already lost to a guy he widely beat, ruiz was no tier above several aj victims. the unexpected can happen and that applies to other fighters too

for all we know next year is kownacki vs ruiz for undisputed, with tom schwarz being lineal and the rest being awful fraud bums :yay:

I'll give you your due lad you're committed to your cause.

You write a hell of a lot of long posts on just about every thread defending Joshua.

For someone who isn't bothered about the criticism

You should just copy and paste. They're all much the same anyway and it would save you a bit of time to talk about some other fighters
