Dillian Whyte rejected the AJ fight, because he was being offered far less than what he was paid for the Chisora rematch. However, Matchroom offered Andy Ruiz Jr. and Jarrell Miller in excess of $2m more than ‘The Body Snatcher’ was offered.
Dillian Whyte rejected the opportunity to compete in the IBF final eliminator, against Kubrat Pulev, because he was only receiving a 25% purse split, which equated to a paltry $375K. The Bulgarian was being paid three times more than the Brit’s sum.
On the 25th April 2018, the WBC officially ordered the final eliminator between Luis Ortiz and DillianWhyte.
The Cuban allegedly declined the opportunity to face Dillian Whyte on the 28th July 2018, because he claimed the scheduled fight-date was too soon for him. However, Ortiz actually ended up fighting on that date anyway, when he engaged in the preposterous Razvan Cojanu mismatch.
Meanwhile, Dillian Whyte had to find an alternative opponent for his 28th July bout, so he chose to face an even better fighter named Joseph Parker.

You presented Whyte’s actions as if he was given a real choice and alluded that he was responsible for the situation he has been placed in.
You didn’t provide any context to justify his entirely reasonable decisions.
Whyte was low-balled for the Joshua and Pulev fights.
And Luis Ortiz actually rejected the opportunity to face ‘The Body Snatcher’. Eddie Hearn and Dillian Whyte both claimed that Luis Ortiz rejected a $2.54m offer to face him.
