Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Peter looks totally out of shape. What time does this fight start, EST?

Annoys me how they keep citing the cut in the 2nd round as a reason Fury lost to Pulev. What a face saver that cut has been for Fury. It gets trotted out every time he appears now.

The only surprise so far is that Peters seem to think he can win this.

Hughie Fury is only a boxer because of the family he was born into.

Born into a different family he would never have been a boxer.

Kind of sad to watch really...

Call me a masochist, but I'd be curious to see a Peter-Stiverne matchup.

I assume few of you here would nod in agreement.

But why?

Here's the fight vid. Fury should watch Andy Ruiz and learn about combinations. Peter was disgusting. That's how he fought his first fight against Wlad, rabbit punching while idiot crook ref Randy Neuman looked on.

I just think it would be competitive. Fascinatingly sad.

A couple of out of shape former champions who are light years past their best days.

Neither guy seems all that interested in actually fighting. Just there to pick up a paycheck and then go home.

Peter specializes in rabbit punches and low blows and keeps punching while the ref tries to stop him and even accidentally hit the ref, but I don't agree that he was just there to pick up a paycheck. He's still dangerous. Now compare tonight with the way my man Pulev demolished him 2 1/2 years ago! OK, Peter vs Stiverne that sounds like a fair fight.

This will go down as a underrated classic. Great matchup between the old and young lions battling for dominance.

Not sure why 3 different people are hating on Hughie in this thread, but it was clearly evident that his skills were good, and the MD against Joseph Parker shows how he could compete at a world level when he was only 23. It's quite clear that he has a future in this sport and should not retire.

And if you weren't entertained, then I don't give a f*ck that you weren't entertained. Some people can appreciate boxers who stick and move. Not all of us are drunk casuals who only like brawlers.

You know where the hate comes from its the style. One fight doesn't change that.

..it's not so much hating on Fury as disliking his style, his inablity to put his height and reach advantage to good use, unwillingness to effectively engage, generally lackluster performance..not quite sure how he got Parker in the first place, he lost and then got a shot at Pulev, lost again and now it's Peter, surely a shadow of himself but still a recognisable name...plus facts regarding usage of banned substances don't make him more popular..all that just adds up...
