Maybe Canelo is more of a man than ODH's promoting of him has shown.

Not anything earthshattering.

There have been stories for several years, mostly in the Mexican press, that Oscar and Canelo frequently have major differences.

Canelo is a loner. He really doesn't enjoy working with others or being at their beck and call.

I expect one day, probably when his DAZN contract expires, Canelo will leave GBP and attempt to promote himself.

But until then he and Golden Boy will continue their sometimes uneasy alliance and earn a lot of money for each other.

I thought it was more between Oscar and DAZN about Canelo.
Let's face it, Canelo is by far the gartered one's biggest draw.

I Binged Oscar fights the other day. Amazing how much shtick he gets (including from me) with a legacy like he has.

He would have fought both Spence and Crawford by now.

Oscar is actually a good fighter to point to in the modern era that you don't have to be undefeated. If you keep giving World Class performances, and taking on Elite competition time and time again. You're going to be respected, and acknowledged as a star in your sport. Oscar was a star until the day he hung 'em up. He had his share of losses, but never shyed away from anybody. Guys today could definitely take a lesson from that.

Hell to his credit Oscar's boy Canelo similarly has taken on consistently top guys in recent years.
