Register Korean Editor for BoxRec

Post by kim dae ryeong »

Hello,
This is Daeryeong Kim who is in charge of KABC 'Korea All Boxing Council' and ALL FC MMA federation.
I'm very proud to develop Boxing industry in Korea market with continuing boxing matches.
In order to being professional Boxing bouts for KABC, I'd like to request to get authorization to upload the athlete record in BoxRec site.
Could you guide us how to join 'BoxRec' as second represent for Korea in BoxRec?

I'm sorry but promoters cannot be editors, due to the conflict of interest.
All communications should go via our Korean editor.

“Concerns About Korean Editor”

“Concerns About Korean Editor”
Dear Mr. Marina,

This is Daeryeong Kim, who inquired about the Korea Editor of Boxrec.

I understand that because of the small size of the Korean boxing world,
one editor for the region is enough. I also understand that promoters and
corporate representatives cannot be an editor.

I agree with both these points.

I think that regional editors of Boxrec are the faces of Boxrec for each of
those respective regions. Not only Korea, but for every boxer around the world,
what they hope for is not an editor who makes judgments based on emotions
but instead a fair and objective editor.

An editor is not a political power. An editor who uses their position
as a one of authority over boxers cannot be called a good editor.

For these reasons, I believe that Mr. Hyun-cheol Hwang, the current
corporate representative of Korean Boxing Management and a promoter,
can no longer be Korean editor and that someone else must
be appointed to the position.

Although Mr. Hwang first became Korean editor when he was an employee
of the KBC, he is now both a corporate representative and boxing promoter.
I am including in this email documents that establish this as a fact.

So that there are no instances where a boxer's blood, sweat, and tears
go to waste so due to outside influences or a lack of impartiality, I implore Boxrec
to appoint a new Korean editor.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Daeryeong Kim

Dear Marina,

It's been a long time to leave a message.

We have worked with Mr. Hwang. He asked us to pay registration fee, so we paid it twice and registered.
But after that even we requested many time, he is ignored us and do not upload our record.

He(Hwang) has own his boxing management(KBM) http://www.boxingm.com.
Is it possible for editors to register matches they organize in boxrec?
I think this is unfair, and I think it needs to be fixed.

We would like to register my all official matches on Boxrec.
Of course the exact conditions will be always be prepared.

Please check the below links.
