The WBA didn't wait for Whyte's camp to offer up explanations on his failed drug test and dropped him from their rankings. They did the same to Luis Ortiz when he had failed.
While I don't condone PED use, I find this a bit precipitous.
Very peculiar is that Rivas was also dropped from the WBA rankings due to the loss. Very strange. But not as strange as their overall rankings.
The Rankings:
1-Trevor Bryan
2-Usyk
3-Joshua
4-Wallin
5-Kuzmin
6-Hrgovic
7-Kownacki
8-Hunter
9-Price
10-Povetkin
11-Fujimoto
12-Teslenko
13-Dychko
14-Miljas
15-Oquendo

Re: WBA Rankings Dillian Whyte dropped
May he also be dropped because he is/was interim WBC champ?

Re: WBA Rankings Dillian Whyte dropped
Is it possible that the WBA have chosen to remove Dillian Whyte from their rankings because he technically captured a secondary world title from a rival governing body?

Any governing body that lists trevor bryan as number 1 contender has ceased to be relevant.
Seriously. Let's ignore this pos of an organization
