Now then.

Anybody, before switiching the tele's off at disgust at Sky's "coverage" of the fights today see the Hatton vs Oliveria weigh in.

Oliveria look excellent, made the weight first time and didn't look gaunt.

The guy has a good chin and as Barrera would say "Throw many punches". He could win this thing on cuts, you know.

Still think Hatton (on points) but, Oliveria certainly looked good enough at the weight.

Also, Cotto (for someone who used to fight alot at Lightweight) was looking gaunt during the interview. I don't know when the interview was taking place but I can't see him being at Light Welter an awful lot longer.

Yes I agree he did look good. I was fully expecting him to look very drained. Which hopefully means he is here to win so we may be in for a good fight tonight.

I am still picking Hatton to win by stappage though.

Yes, he did look in good shape. Very confident bloke too, but then wouldn't expect him to say he's gonna get beaten!

Stu - Wayne Alexander's not happy that you have him at 4 in the ratings

Well, tell Wayne that I can fully understand his frustration - its just Takaloo wasn't ranked that highly at the time they fought and Wayne wasn't in the top ten at the time of the contest.

You cannot have anybody in the middle of Jones and Moore because of the unsatisfactory ending of their last bout. Williams remains at number 1 because he his defeats were to better opposition than Wayne's.

Tell him I thought it was a great win against Tak and he is the mix, but I cannot rank him any higher.
