HW Prime Versions: Andrzej Gołota/Frank Bruno/Tommy Morrison

Post by dagilechia »

So bad that those B tier fighters from the fantastic 90s era didn't fought each other. Who would you pick in Gołota vs Bruno, Gołota vs Morrison, Bruno vs Morrison fights.

Morrisson vs Bruno= Or Duke early KO or Bruno midrounds.

Golota vs Bruno = Bruno by TKO 10

Morrison vs Golota = Morrison by early KO.

If he wouldn't get caught, Morrison could provide a sorta Tyson-like performances against both. With Foreman fight approach Morrison would outbox Bruno, but it's more difficult to say about Golota, cause Golota was better skill-wise, than Bruno and even than 90s Foreman himself. Also Golota had a better stamina, than Morrison. If Golota would be prepared mentally and physically he could survive against Morrison early and outbox him. And I'd also pick well-prepared Golota over Bruno. So, I'd say, Morrison > Golota > Bruno with a note, that the first two of them could be inconsistent, while Bruno was more solid and could use his power against those two in a case of them not being fully prepared.

Fights between those fighters would be so unpredictable. One could lose by KO 1 one day, win a clear UD another.

Bowe's stock was through the ceiling after the 2nd Bowe fight and down the toilet after the Lewis debacle. Realistically, if he lands that right hand on Bruno or Morrison that he floored Bowe with in the 2nd rd, it's over.
