Former boxers that stayed in shape after retirement
Former boxers that stayed in shape after retirement
What boxers have stayed in shape years after they've retired? I see many tend to get tired of the training/injuries/diet/wear and tear and opt to let themselves go as they get older. I would say Leonard seems to always look in decent shape.
Of course Mayweather, Bradley, Ward, and Hopkins are likely to stay in decent shape over time but they're more recent. I'm thinking fighters that have been retired for at the very least 5 years without intention to come back.

Barry McGuigan is trim and looks to be something of a weightlifter. Very powerfully built.
I saw a recent interview with Pinklon Thomas and he looks to be in top nick. Not only in shape but speaks well, without even the hint of a slur. Quite remarkable really.

Eder Jofre.
He’s 83 and still hits the gym 3-4 times per week.

I was like, who is that? Then they flashed the commentators names, and I was like, "who is that?"

Oisin Fagan.
Not a week goes by when he's not on a Facebook video after 10k runs or doing mad bag sessions. Loves it.

Re: Former boxers that stayed in shape after retirement
Richie Woodhall still looks properly trim and genuinely about 10 years younger than he is.
For such a massive man who can easily afford to have a steak, brandy and wine every night Big Lennox looks pretty good.
LL was a VIP guest at that god-awful Khan/Fury show in Saudi and looked in decent nick.....although hugely bored to the point of being on the verge of having a kip.
