This Friday live on sky, Haney fights fellow unbeaten fighter Abdullaev in an eliminator for Lomachenko's World Lightweight title(s), I really like the look of Haney so far, seen him a few times now and always been impressed, he pulled off a worldy of a KO against Moran last time out, good to see him take a step back from promoting his own shows or at least letting Matchroom do the lions share and allowing him to concentrate on the boxing, he's a highly skilled boxer and one of the few boxer who actually has similarities to Mayweather, he could be the future flag bearer for Hearn although its early to say
Havent seen Abdullaev before but he's 11-0 with 7 early, fought his whole career in Russia and has a UD win over Lundy, hoping for a good fight here, pity Daniel Roman's defence of his World Super Bantamweight titles has been scrapped, he's quality and still a bit underappreciated
Hunter/Kuzmin should be fun though

Re: Devin Haney vs Zaur Abdullaev
Classy performance from Haney, absolutely lightning hand speed and a superb jab which he works off nicely. Dominated the fight before Abdullaev's corner pulled him out due to a facial injury, be interesting to see who he fights next as Loma will most likely be pre-occupied with a unification.

Re: Devin Haney vs Zaur Abdullaev
Stoppage win for Haney after Abdullaev fails to come out for the 4th round with what looked like a broken nose, bit of a surprise but it was a tough 4 rounds for Abdullaev who apart from the odd jab couldn't get into the fight as Haney was just too fast and too accurate, really impressed with Haney again as I said he was lightening quick and his accuracy was on point, jab was superb, his left hand is rapid, some nice hooks, dug in the left hand to the body and was bringing the right hand into play just before it was stopped, poor Abdullaev couldn't get out of the way of anything Haney threw, getting better all the time is Haney

He has certainly stepped out of the 'prospect' bracket & on to a contender now, looks one of the better young fighters around currently.handsofstone wrote: ↑14 Sep 2019, 05:47NoScoutingReports wrote: ↑14 Sep 2019, 05:43 Classy performance from Haney, absolutely lightning hand speed and a superb jab which he works off nicely. Think he’s the real deal. Fancy him against anyone not named Lomachenko, should have to fight Lopez but I don’t think that’s gonna happen soon.
Love the jab, hangs nice and low so he can use his shoulder then fires straight up.

Haney delivered a young-Judah dominant performance.
