Mark Wright traced his ancestry from recent Eastend boxers back to Spain and the sword-fighting line of Jewish Mendoza's of the 16th 17th.

nothing definite in the episode itself but i'd be staggered if he wasn't related to the legendary pug Daniel Mendoza somewhere down the line. Way too many connections.

I thought this too...it was a really interesting episode wasn't it. If so, he may be related to the great Peter Sellers.
