Circa 1979. Who wins this 15 rounder?

Coetzee was tough, but also easy to hit. that said, I have to go with Shavers by KO/TKO 7.

This is a really good one; kudos to you ! Coetzee had the better chin, boxed better and was a good sized heavy for his day. Circa 1979, Coetzee wins. Now, prime versus prime, I'm, still taking Coetzee. Jackie McCoy taught Gerrie the left hook and that added to his game a lot.

Coetzee was nicknamed "The Bionic Man" and his best punch was his right hand. Anyways, the Earnie Shavers of the Norton fight would KO Coetzee in 4 rounds.

I don't know. The answer is in the centimeters. If Earnie lands flush it's Bruno-Coetzee. If he doesn't, it's Tillis-Shavers.

I could easily see either man scoring a 1st round KO. This one would always end in a stoppage, probably 6 times out of 10 for Shavers.

If no one gets KOed, than Coetzee by decision. But any of them could KO the other one at any point.

This is very tough to call. I'd lean slightly in favor of Shavers, by early round KO. However, if this fight went past four rounds, then the advantage would shift to Coetzee, who would use his boxing ability, athleticism, hand speed, and power punches to potshot and bomb a fatigued, fading Shavers.

Shavers wins early here or get's KO'd in the middle to late rounds.
