James Bonecrusher Smith vs Pinklon Thomas

Post by DrDuke »

Prime vs Prime, both of their mid 80s versions.

Both of them were very tough competitors. Both had good jab. Thomas seemed more dependent on it despite the fact, that Bonecrusher was longer. Both could fight.

I suppose, Thomas would be better earlier because of the jab, but still Thomas wasn't that elusive boxer, Bonecrusher would push forward and make it a fight later, Thomas wouldn't be able to avoid it.

My pick is Bonecrusher by close decision in a good bout, maybe MD or SD.

Pinklon by UD in a competitive fight, like 10-5 in rounds.
