Dubois is just going through the list of current/former WBO regional belt holders that are currently/formerly ranked in the top 15 and hold no threat. Cojanu, Tetteh and Fujimoto. Junior Fa or Demsey McKean next?

Fujimoto fell apart in 5 rounds against former Tongan rugby player, Solomon Haumono way back in 2012. He's since fought absolute nobodies in the hope a good payday would eventually materialize. He looks like a blown up middleweight who's had too many protein shakes, and is a total non-puncher.

Opponent looks like a club fighter. Dubois would get a better test fighting someone like Kamil Sokolowski.

Kyo could beat him under K1 rules though, he is the badder man of the two :yay:

Don't discount Haumono. Sure he is a C level guy, but a solid C level guy. And he can crack.
I do agree about Fuji's resume
Cripes.
DD will blast this paper puffed resume in 2 rounds or less. Which is about how much I care about it

At least we won't have to see Fujimoto in any rankings after this blow out. So we have that going for us!

I'm sure the fight will be called off for either injury or failed drug test

Dub really still only have 13 fights? Maybe since all of them have been on TV it made me think that he had more than he did.

He's undefeated as heavyweight champion of Japan.

Of course he has been beaten, they have been talking about it up in this thread.

The "former" part of my comment relates to the fact he vacated the title, there will be a new champion crowned before he fights Dubois.

The better talking up point, if that was what you were doing, would be surely "the man that unified the Japanese title with the Orientals and WBO Asia Pacific champion, in fact he's the the first man to unify those 3 titles"
