Esquivel is an excellent prospect at super middle. He has solid amateur credentials as well, competing mainly at 178 pounds. He won the US Olympic Trials at 178 but came up short at the Americas Olympic Qualifying Tourney and missed out on the Rio Games. Esquivel has never fought over 164 pounds as a pro since his debut in January 2017 and has won all 13 of his bouts (12 by KO).
