Poor action by AJ! He just wanted those belts back and he fought ultra defensive!

I'm disappointed. If a fighter with such a great physique runs to not get T/KO'd by a chubby fighter with short hands then that's comical. Andy wanted a fight but Joshua just wanted those belts. :verysad:

If Ruiz didn't come in like a fat pig, he would have had a choice.

That has actually been Joshua's best performance.

Buster Douglas on a talk show basically said he doesn't want to be super wealthy or super famous, he put enough money away to not have to work, he enjoys his couch and TV.

Joshua fought the perfect fight.

Ruiz might be a fat blob, but he can actually fight (when he puts in the effort) and he can take a punch too.

Joshua underestimated him the first time around and he was never going to do that again.

Give him credit for proving that he can fight more than one way.

Tbh Andy is still the BIG WINNER. He made history by becoming the first mexican HW champion. He whooped AJ in the first match. He showed that boxing is more about skills and heart than looking like a greek god sculpture. And most of all is that Andy proved that he's a far more dangerous player in the HW division than Joshua. :TU:

Now Joshua is gonna fight ultra defensive and careful knowing that his weaknesses were exposed by a chubby-short handed opponent. AJ's future opponents would salivate. :box:

Exactly. He did what most thought he couldn't by sticking and moving for 12 straight rounds.
He did a great job.
But it was boring to watch

If fighting very cautious to not get T/K.O'ed by a short-chubby opponent is Joshua's best performance then it was a poor day for boxing and the HW division.

He stuck and moved for 12 rounds. He was a guy whose stamina was always questioned

Look he totally adjusted his fighting style to beat an opponent. That is impressive.

It wasnt thrilling but it was effective. The 1st fight showed ruiz only had a chance if you traded with him so he took that away. Smart.

wilder should fight some decent opponents to prove he deserves a shot vs AJ , his resume is shockingly bad .

That's what boxers' teams say when they are scared of somebody.

the facts speak for themselves - you should read em and weep ...
Wilders rise to the top has been as a "protege "

Has he got a huge power shot ? yes
Can he box ? a little
He is a superb athlete we know .
But lets be honest here - 2 fighters in Fury and Ortiz are the only decent opponents in his entire career

Because dummies keep talking about resumes when trying to prove that one fighter is better than the other.

Ya, though in many cases a fighter is both better and has the better resume, like Canelo over GGG :OhYes:
