My thoughts are it doesn't matter who ranks who where. Until they fight. We don't have an answer to who's the best.

I don't disagree. I'm asking for thoughts on Teddy's views.

I agree with him that Wilder is the more dangerous matchup for Joshua than Fury is. Though obviously neither is a walk in the park.

Looking at the thread starter I'm guessing Wilder is #1

Exactly. I appreciate there are good fights with Usyk and so and so but Fury, Wilder and AJ are the ESTABLISHED top 3. The fans and the fighters should be begging to see them fight. Don’t they themselves want to know who the best in the sport is? No fans should care about the politics, demand the fights, consumer demand!

We may never know. I'm not optimistic that they will ever fight each other. I miss having an undisputed champion.

Interestingly, in another forum discussing AJ v Ruiz, I ranked AJ third. His lack of experience as an amateur and all that training with ridiculously heavy weights limit him and must continue to do so. In terms of weight of punch, clearly Wilder leads. But Fury, for such a big man, is surprisingly elusive, and against Wilder he showed astonishing grit and determination to get up off the canvas and take the fight to Wilder as he did. If there were anyone out there good enough to force him to work at pace, he might well not have the stamina to go 12 rounds without lots of intervals. Let's hope the Wilder - Fury rematch is as eventful.

It's a very interesting time in the h/wt division, even though there's probably no individual who would rank as 'great'. (Ernie Shavers, like Wilder, had a great punch but would'nt be regarded as a great h/wt.)

I have Fury above both. He beat Wilder after all.

Fury/Wilder are a tough call. AJ clearly below both of them.

Teddy also says Wilder has the most devastating one-punch KO power he's ever seen.

I'd say Ortiz schooled Wilder more than Fury did when it came to boxing skill. The only other difference between Ortiz and Fury is Fury has a better chin. I'd love to see Fury-Ortiz.

Hopefully the fight will happen. Whoever wins this is number one. As a Wilder fan, Fury scares me the most.

I think Fury is above Ortiz. Wilder just took the approach to wait for the opening and take him out, giving away the rounds the way through. Vs Fury, Wilder tried and struggled.

My opinion too. Fury really showcased boxing skill and class. He was able to avoid numerous wild right hands - was impressive to see. I'm not saying Ortiz isn't skillful however Fury looked superior.

Exactly, it is quite hard to really know the order of those three and whilst you can have an opinion what you favour a match of of those three could produce any result.

fair enough. possibly all 3 could beat each other on any given night.
fury has the win over wlad, and deserved the win ovet wilder, so that possibly makes him no.1.
wilder is the most scary and is confident and dangerous.
aj has very good all around power, technique & decent speed. and aj must have the strongest resume of late; ruiz, parker, povetkin, vlad.
