Always kinda wondered how this one would go. I’m inclined to favoring cooney slightly but Damiani is underrated in my opinion.

Damiani is overrated. He is proof that boxing is not a body building contest because the man was blubbery but he had plenty of boxing ability and licked Teofilo Stevenson in the unpaid ranks. As for a Cooney-Damiani showdown, yes Cooney has the edge because of his vaunted power.
