We will know more about Joshua if he ever fights Wilder or Fury. For now, I would go with Witherspoon.

Witherspoon fought good quality opponents.
Snipes, Holmes, Tillis, Page and Thomas during the first 5 years of his career is good.
Did Tim have weight issues ?
I can't remember but I thought he struggled a bit on the scales at times.

I think Tim had a fairly 'relaxed' body Evander but he also carried some extra pounds for some fights too.

Seem to recall that some of the UK press nicknamed him the Pillsbury Doughboy before the Bruno fight....not very flattering and of course Tim ultimately had a good night against Frank and the last laugh.

I'll go for Joshua winning this one however...….despite not having faced anyone in the Holmes class yet.

Joshua would have to fight like he did in the Ruiz rematch. Spoon was a bigger puncher and took a much better shot. Tim is tough in these because at his best hed win a lot of these, but he was inconsistent. Both at their best I don't see much hope for aj.

Fair stuff that :TU:

If Joshua makes any mistakes like loading-up too early and gassing then Tim had the power and accuracy to make him pay down the line.

But I think that Joshua at this best would be right on it for this kind of known, very dangerous opponent and is just a wee bit too big and also quick enough to win an intriguing fight. Patience and pacing is the key for AJ.
