Iran Professional Boxing Championship in Cruiserweight

On Februry 7th, a Cruiserweight championship shall take pace in Sari, North Iran. Five fights shall consist of four rounds each. The championship fight shall be an eight-round fight. This event has been organised by Iran Boxing Council on behalf of WBC. This is the first time two fighters will compete to win the new Iran Boxing Council Cruiserweight Belt. This event has been organised by Reza Djabbarpoor, Official representative of WBC in Iran.

I'm curious what fighters are involved. BoxRec shows no events scheduled for Iran and of the 5 Iranian cruiserweight boxers ranked, 4 of them are based outside of Iran!! None of the 5 have ever fought in Iran.

It's great news for boxing for country with 80 population and strong genetics. Iran government never recognized boxing as an official sport.

That's should be Yousof Mohammadi osmanvandi ..LOL
