He reminded me allot of Wlad allot, like choking the neck bringing the head down, putting your body weight, holding clinching. This was the reason he hired Steward to keep his chin safe,
Unlike Wlad getting away with it for all his career. Fury did lose a point for the choking for the 10th time., and stopped doing it after he lost a point.
Did Tyson Fury bring Steward to become Wladimir klitschko

Re: Did Tyson Fury bring Steward to become Wladimir klitschko
Wladimir Klitschko was never an inside fighter, but Fury was eager to push Wilder to the ropes and trade in the pocket with the American. And most of us have acknowledged for quite some time Deontay’s inability to compete at close quarters.
Also, Fury threw a much greater array of shots than Klitshko usually did, which included prolonged attacks to the body, which Klitschko was never known for. In fact it’s unusual for tall fighters to employ this tactic.
So no, I don’t think Fury was trying to become a Klitschko clone. Instead, he went from the defensive-minded Ben Davison to employing the aggressively minded Sugar Hill Steward. His intention was to stop Wilder, because he thought he couldn’t gain a decision victory.
For sure, there might be one or two stylistic similarities, such as the grabbing and leaning, but in no way was Tyson attempting to emulate Wladimir’s fighting style.

Wlad never fought like that in his life

Funny how a fantastic fight like this always brings out a few really dumb minimumweights.

He did exactly everything Wladimir does with little more aggression, If you can't see that you clearly are blind.
Fury did lie about Steward was brought in for Kronk power, it was to cover his china chin which can be cracked by any top 20 heavyweights, now with Wlad skills he may survive little longer turn this era into another ugly heavyweight era.
Before you say China chin? Let me explain why he is china, was knocked down hard and hurt by cruiser weight with bad ko ration 39 fights 13 ko's Wilder first fight if you look at the knockdowns none of them were good punches, he never tasted what Ortiz tasted from Wilder. Slow motion the KO and check pics the result is weak punches had him out. His face never looked like by guys who get hit hard, like Marciano did to Wallcot.
By the way none of this Wlad stuff should be allowed in boxing.

Fury is more well-rounded and skilled, than Wlad was. Wlad was majorly holding inside, Fury is fighting inside.
