No weights were reported by any of the sources for the results, except where noted.

Sources for the results: "Long Branch Daily Record", Long Branch, NJ, July 16, 1929, page 9; "Red Bank Register", Red Bank, NJ, July 17, 1929, page 24: and "The Standard", Red Bank, NJ, July 19, 1929, pages 9 and 10.

There were some factual discrepancies among the sources. The "Long Branch Daily Record" reported boxer names as Danny Cronin, Floyd Glover, and Ederle Scott, and the paper had Goldberg defeating Scott. "The Standard", a weekly newspaper, had it Danny Cooney, Floyd Grover, and Kid Scott. The weekly also had Goldberg from Perth Amboy and Scott beating Goldberg. The "Red Bank Register" had the boxer names of Danny Matthews, Danny Cooney, Floyd Glover, and Ederle Scott. The "Red Bank Register" had Goldberg beating Scott but didn't note the round of the stoppage. The Scott-Goldberg bout was chaotic, with a fan grabbing a towel from Scott's corner and throwing it into the ring after Scott had received some low blows.
