*According to "The Daily Herald" account of the main event, "White, who apparently had little training, went down twice from light blows and Kugel promptly announced neither boxer would get paid." Later that month, New Jersey Boxing Commissioner John McCutcheon said that White took a dive and suspended Sankovitch and his manager, White and his manager, and promoter Shattls, following a hearing on the matter which was conducted on March 14.
