Morrison KO
Re: Corrie Sanders versus Tommy Morrison
Prime vs prime i'd go with Duke by KO in midrounds.
Re: Corrie Sanders versus Tommy Morrison
Morrison by early or mid KO/TKO. Tommy was better skilled, he could methodically break Corrie down, while Corrie wasn't too durable, so Morrison would stop him relatively early.
Re: Corrie Sanders versus Tommy Morrison
Sanders is the better version of Joe Hipp from the southpaw stance and would hurt Morrison for a TKO win in 6 rounds with heavy left hands.
Morrison would out-box and out-slug Sanders like he did against Foreman unless he got sloppy and caught by Sanders like Mercer did to him in 1991.

Re: Corrie Sanders versus Tommy Morrison
Maybe Sanders for me....sorry, but I just think he had the guns to do it.
The big Bok could properly crack, was the bigger man and started fast.
And he was successful at this approach too.
But a patient Morrison stepping back from some big, early bombs can win it too.....Sanders could run out of steam, ideas and suddenly get hittable and ragged.
Probably all depends on whether Tommy wants to meet fire-with-fire from the opening ding??

Re: Corrie Sanders versus Tommy Morrison
Most likely scenario would be Corrie Sanders catching Morrison early and scoring the KO, probably inside of 3. If Morrison could survive to the halfway mark he'd stand a good chance of winning a decision. Morrison is very overrated these days. Sanders had poor stamina, but he came the closest of anyone in the pros to putting Vitali on the canvas. He also kayoed Wlad and was on the verge of stopping Rahman before he got stopped.

Sanders could never take half of what Mercer did. Obviously Tommy was vulnerable and Sanders has a punchers chance but definitely different levels.id give hipp a much better chance against Sanders.scorpio83 wrote: ↑10 Mar 2020, 11:35 Sanders is the better version of Joe Hipp from the southpaw stance and would hurt Morrison for a TKO win in 6 rounds with heavy left hands.

Odd, I think Morrison is underrated and Sanders is crazy overrated.Seamus wrote: ↑10 Mar 2020, 21:59 Most likely scenario would be Corrie Sanders catching Morrison early and scoring the KO, probably inside of 3.
